An Interactive Course on WEB DEVELOPMENT AND MULTIMEDIA hosted by CSE Department. This Event is meant to up skill higher secondary school and diploma students during the covid-19 lockdown and engage them in meaningful activities. An Interactive Course on C++ by Microsoft Student Partners and Competitive Coders from Agrim Lab (A technical student club, hosted by Department of CSE). This Event is meant to up skill higher secondary school and diploma students during the covid-19 lockdown and engage them in meaningful activities.
Importance of the workshop
1) Insights of Core concepts of Web Development and Multimedia
2) Inculcate student with front and back end skillsets to develop a website and host using GitHub
3) Enrich the students with creativity using Adobe Photoshop and Animation using PowerPoint.
4) Interactive hands on sessions to make the students to think out of box.
The session started with a welcome address by Ms.M.S.Antony Vigil, AP/CSE followed by an Inspirational talk by the head of the department Dr.N.Kannan that motivated the young aspirants towards their career. Ms.P.Sabitha, Asst.Prof and Ms.Bennet Praba Asst.Prof briefed about the session and introduced the speakers. The event kicked off with more than 75 participants! All the sessions had a meticulous and energetic presentations by the speakers indulging practical skills on students in HTML and CSS , Three tier web application development using PHP and MySQL server, Codeless Web development using Adobe XD and web hosting in GitHub. With this knowledge the students will explore to become a full stack web developer. Innovative teaching using Adobe Photoshop and animation using powerpoint enriched the students towards creative thinking and also was fuelled with use of free web resources to make the creations more attractive.
We had a enthusiastic and energetic participation of students throughout the entire session. The knowledge gained here will be a stepping stone of success in their career. Moreover, the students expressed their deep satisfaction with positive feedback and even inquired about future sessions. Without a word of thanks doesn’t make a show successful.
